Blairs Grove Green Space
The Township of Huron-Kinloss has removed all the ash and hazard trees from the Blairs Grove greenspace on Municipal property that we are aware of. The drain is functional, however in rough shape and will be graded and cleaned out in 2023.
Thank-you everyone for your patience while the work was in progress.
BACKGROUND
Blairs Grove Green Space Ash Tree Project work started in November 2022 and was completed by December 2022. During that time, the Blairs Grove green space was closed to the public. The bulk of the trees (approximately 125 trees) was removed by loggers, and tops will remain in the green space beside the open ditch.
The blue outline on this Map, indicates where the Ash trees were removed.
The Township of Huron-Kinloss authorized Crawford Loggers to remove all ash trees, and any hazard trees in this parcel of land. The trees are being removed due to safety concerns regarding falling trees or tree limbs.
