New Gravel Pit Application

The Township of Huron-Kinloss has submitted an application to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry to license a portion of Part Lot 18 Concession 6 in the Township of Huron-Kinloss. 10.13 ha (25.5 acres) is proposed to be licensed to operate a Class B Pit (extraction of up to 20,000 tonnes annually) above the water table.

The Township will be hosting an in person public meeting on Wednesday February 22, 2023 at 6:00pm at the Lucknow & District Sports Complex to hear comments and concerns regarding the proposed license application. For more information please see the Studies and Plans found below.

Any person(s) wishing to comment formally on this application must send their comments in writing via email or by Canada Post and filed no later than April 10, 2023.
