Q&A

  • To quote from the movie - Field of Dreams - "If you build it, they will come"! I believe that the Municipality of Kincardine will say "No" to allowing licensed cannabis retail stores, because they've demonstrated for so many years now, their reluctance to "get with the times" with so many things. Huron-Kinloss always seems to be more forward thinking/progressive and tends to "live in the current century"! People will go to where they can buy the product. If they can't buy it here, they're just going to go to a community where they CAN, and while there, they're undoubtedly going to spend money at other retail stores. For that reason alone, Huron-Kinloss SHOULD allow licensed cannabis retail stores here!

Thank you for your comments. You may want to look at the recent minutes from the Municipality of Kincardine Council. They are the home of the Supreme Cannabis Company's 7ACRES facility that has brought much growth and employment oppertunity to the area.

  • Would the stores be allowed to operate out of someone’s residence?

    Elaine asked 6 months ago

No, the stores have to be in separate buildings and only in areas where retail or commercial operations are currently permitted.

  • Already using cannabis oil to relieve pain and would like to be able to purchase it locally.
