In accordance with Drainage Act, you as an owner of land affected by the proposed drainage works for the Bruce Beach Municipal Drain Phase I are receiving notification that an electronic meeting will be held by the Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Tribunal at 10:00 am on Wednesday March 23 and Thursday March 24, 2022 by way of video conference to consider two appeals under Section 54 of the Drainage Act.

Lake Range Drive between Concession 8 and Concession 10 is now open to local traffic only as construction continues for the Bruce Beach Drain - Phase 1.

Lane restrictions will be in place on Monday, March 7th.

Detour signs will be posted.

Headway Engineering have completed additional work on the Bruce Beach Municipal Drain Phase II and will be reviewing their findings with everyone concerned. This review will cover:

1. Type and design of drainage system

2. Estimated Costs

3. Proposed Assessment.

February 05, 2022 Bruce Beach Drain Meeting Notes

The drainage work on Lake Range Drive that was scheduled to start at the beginning of November was delayed.

Lake Range Drive between Concession 8 and Concession 10 will be closed for drainage work starting tomorrow, December 1st, until a holiday shut down by the contractor on December 24th.

It will close again for a three-week period starting January 3, 2022. This includes a full closure between 724 and 728 Lake Range Drive.

Emergency services, waste collectors, and residents will be able to reach properties 702 to 726 from the south, and properties 728 to 820 from the north.

In the event that Highway 21 is closed due to weather conditions, the contractor will have provisions in place for traffic and emergency services to use Lake Range Drive. Please expect delays and monitor the weather conditions to keep everyone safe.
