Project Update - June 7, 2023

Township staff have considered BTE’s findings and public input regarding a one-way road conversion.

Township staff concur with BTE’s findings that a year-round one-way road conversion in a southbound direction is feasible, however, conclude that it may not be the best solution for ratepayers and users of the roadway.

Following the BTE's Presentation to Council on June 5, 2023, Council has directed staff to explore off street parking options in more detail before making any decision. Various lots are being considered for proposal.

Additional short-term solutions include line-painting and increased signage.
