Tree Planting on Sunday May 5th, 2019 at 1 pm

The Ripley 4-H Nature Club will be planting trees on Sunday May 5th, starting at 1 pm. An estimated 150 seedling trees will be planted including White Spruce, and White Pine. The trees will be planted throughout the slope in areas where accessible. We understand there are many tree tops / branches still on the slope, and the 4-H club will plant around them.

We appreciate everyone's understanding leaving the trees tops in place, due to the safety hazard to attempt the removal was too great. In time these trees will eventually decompose, but for now the tree branches will provide excellent cover for some of natures smaller animals.
