Point Clark Road Construction Projects 2025

At the April 23, 2025 Council approved several road construction projects to improve road conditions in Point Clark. This project has been awarded to Lavis Contracting. The scope of the work varies and some will only go forward depending on weather and contractor availability.

Planned:

  • Concession 4 Hill from lower Lake Range to Arthur St and 100m north on upper Lake Range. Surface pavement to be stripped, road graded, and re-paved. Projected timeline May-June.
  • Lurgan Lane. Surface pavement to be stripped, road graded, and re-paved. Projected timeline May-June.
  • Ash St., Spruce Cres, Cedar Close. Surface pavement to be stripped, road graded, and re-paved. Stormwater upgrades may also be included upon approval of tender. Projected timeline Late Summer - Fall 2025.

Tentative, pending weather and contractor availability:

Surface pavement to be stripped, road graded, and re-paved. Tentatively planned for the following roads during Late Summer - Fall 2025:

  • Winnebago Rd from Tyendinaga to Abenaki.
  • Tyendinaga Rd from Winnebago to Petum.
  • Tuscarora Rd from Lake Range Dr to Petum Ct.
  • Onandago Pl, Petum Crt. S

During these projects, the affected street will be restricted to local traffic only. The contractor will do their best to provide access to driveways as much as possible throughout the construction process. Road conditions will be monitored for dust control and treated as necessary to minimize dust but some airborne dust is inevitable. Restoration work will be completed after paving.

Crews will return to do shouldering and lawn repair on Con 4 Hill and Lurgan Lane in the next 2 weeks.

June 2-13

Concession 4 Hill will be closed from June 2 - 13. Pavement to be stripped, graded, re-paved. Second coat to be applied Monday June 9, 2025. - Completed

Lurgan Lane to be stripped, graded, and re-paved. Paving to be done on Monday June 9, 2025. - Completed
